Establishment with a psychiatric mission for people aged between 18 and 65. Respect and self-determination are the cornerstones of our support; the projects and objectives of our residents are the driving force behind them. Our aim is to restore and maintain autonomy and improve quality of life. A multidisciplinary team provides both individual and group treatment.

Our first and foremost mission is to accommodate people going through what we call a risk reduction and commitment phase.

The people we house are referred to us by hospitals, come from home or other institutions similar to ours. Before coming to us, some of our residents were living in very precarious conditions, socially isolated and psychologically unstable. Very often, they had been using psychotropic substances and/or alcohol, and had sometimes just come out of a period of homelessness.

Dual pathology (psychosis and addiction) is common. The residents we take in are unpredictable but not necessarily violent, and are often in denial about their illness and problems, requiring psychiatric hospitalization. They are often ambivalent about the need for psycho-socio-educational support.

By engagement, we mean a stage in which we want to encourage self-determination, as it enables the resident to take a stand, make informed choices and thus begin to take control of his or her life.
