famSpektrum GmbH (Stäfa)

famSpektrum offers socio-pedagogical family support, clarifications in the context of child protection, visitation support, individual support for adolescents, family or educational counseling for private individuals, and accompanied vacation programs. The support is oriented towards the best interests of the child, the needs of our clients and the goals derived from them.
Depending on capacity, we offer counseling in the following languages: German, English, French, Italian.

Time and place The head office of famSpektrum is located in Stäfa. We are active in the canton of Zurich (mainly the right side of Lake Zurich, the Zurich Oberland and the district of Uster), Rapperswil and the surrounding area as well as in the canton of Schwyz.
We do our work primarily in the living environment of the families. There is also the possibility to conduct talks or visit accompaniment at our headquarters.
We offer our services flexibly in terms of time, also working at off-peak hours or on Saturdays, Sundays only in exceptional cases.

Clarification of the order The client clarifies the capacity and general conditions with famSpektrum. In case of agreement, famSpektrum prepares an offer; after the approval of the costs by a cost unit (e.g. social or school authority), or in case of private persons by verbal confirmation, a handover meeting takes place with the client, the family and the famSpektrum specialist. famSpektrum then prepares an agreement - except in case of clarifications - regarding the most important key points such as goals, duration and intensity as well as confidentiality regulations.
The cooperation with the client is an important part of our work, and transparency is very important to us.

Reporting The specialist prepares a detailed report on the family situation, the course of the measure, the parenting skills of the parents and the development of the children every six months or by arrangement. On this basis, a recommendation is made regarding the further course of action.
In the case of clarifications, the report is particularly differentiated and drawn up on the basis of a four-eyes principle as well as an internal clarification concept.

Interventions These are based on the goals and needs of the families and serve to identify as well as solve family problems. The methods come from the fields of social work, social pedagogy and psychology. There is freedom of method for the professional. Interventions of different theoretical concepts - such as system theory, solution orientation, resource and life-world orientation, Marte Meo analysis, behavioral theory, parental presence according to Haim Omer, non-violent communication, 4-sided model, genogram work, etc. - are used in a goal-oriented manner.
The intervention is experienced by the family as the professional guides, coaches, mirrors, strengthens, listens, enlightens, praises, criticizes or activates.
