THOUGHTS ABOUT DOG TRAINING AND OUR PHILOSOPHY

Nowadays dog keeping is becoming more and more difficult. Many more dogs on smaller and smaller space and stricter dog laws require a good basic education of our four-legged friends. No matter whether Great Dane or Dachshund. It is indispensable that the dog behaves decently in everyday situations, e.g. does not chase joggers, cyclists, cats etc., does not stand up to strangers, behaves quietly in restaurants, is friendly towards humans and animals and can be called off in any situation. Otherwise problems of any kind are pre-programmed. Unfortunately, one sees again and again other images that negatively shape the attitude towards dogs in our society. Dogs that are not trained and underemployed quickly mutate into so-called "problem dogs". It is foreseeable that overstrained dog owners will give them away sooner or later. The animal shelters are full of such candidates. In our dog school you have the opportunity to learn in different courses worth knowing and to strengthen the bond with your dog.

TRAINING DOGS

Like its ancestor, the wolf, the dog shows a good understanding of its role. He needs the guidance of us humans as "pack leaders". To take responsibility for a dog means to teach the dog through clear rules what is desired or not. It is up to each dog owner to keep, train and socialize his dog in an appropriate way. I.e. he alone has the responsibility to provide the dog optimally, to move, to occupy and to EDUCATE. Thus the dog becomes and remains socially acceptable! Even if no dog sport and competition is the goal, every dog has a right to a solid basic education (education = socialization with our environment).

To the sovereign status of a dog owner belongs the adapted limitation of the dog as well as the careful handling. The terms "free space" and "limits" are interdependent: without the awareness of limits there is no awareness of free space. A well-behaved dog not only stands out positively and brings joy to its owner, but can thus also enjoy many freedoms.

Our training instructors are familiar with many breeds and are constantly educating themselves in continuing education courses, seminars, etc. In addition, each of us practices dog sports in various disciplines. It is important to us to respond to each individual human-dog team and to find a solution for every problem.
