Ivanir Anchy Asher (Nyon)

After graduating in medicine and surgery from the University of Bologna, where he obtained his medical degree with 110/110 Cum Laude, Dr. Anchy Asher Ivanir went on to obtain the title of FMH specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy, at the HUG (Department of Psychiatry) in Geneva. During this period of specialization, he worked in several cantons of French-speaking Switzerland: Valais, Fribourg, Vaud and Geneva (in collaboration with several outpatient and crisis centers), then in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, where he worked as head of clinic at the Centre d'Etude et Prévention du Suicide (CEPS) and in a multidisciplinary adolescent psychotherapy service.

During this period, he completed his Masters in Couple and Family Therapy at the University of Geneva (Faculty of Medicine, Department of Adult Psychiatry). During his years at CEPS, he gave seminars to 1st-year students at Geneva's Faculty of Medicine, on the theme of what is normal and what is pathological in adolescent crisis.

He also held a position as Head of Clinic at the West Vaud Psychiatric Sector, for 3 years in the hospital and in the outpatient department. Every year, he takes part in major congresses such as the EPA (European Psychiatric Association), the WPA (World Psychiatric Association) (http://www.wpanet.org/) and the BBAdos in Paris.

Dr. Anchy Asher Ivanir was a consulting psychiatrist for the city of Geneva and now works as an expert, collaborating with courts of law, notably in divorce litigation in the cantons of Geneva and Vaud. He has a practice in Geneva and one in the canton of Vaud, in Nyon, where he works with small teams (regional care network - home care, school, parents' association, etc.). He is also a psychiatric expert for the Service Médical Régional (SMR), Office AI.

He was also a speaker at the Seventh Congress of the International Society of Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology in Montreal, on the theme "From adolescent to adult, passage and transition". The theme of his lecture was: "Clinical contributions and reflections on early psychosis".
