PZM Psychiatriezentrum Münsingen AG (Münsingen)

The Münsingen Psychiatric Center is one of the largest psychiatric hospitals in Switzerland. Over 3,000 mentally ill adults are treated annually. The therapeutic focus is on depression and anxiety, psychosis and dependence, as well as geriatric and neuropsychiatry. As the largest employer in the Aare Valley, PZM Psychiatriezentrum Münsingen AG offers 768 people an attractive workplace in 553 full-time positions (as of March 2019).

In addition to the clinic area, the Psychiatry Center Münsingen runs a residential home for people with mental or intellectual impairment, a competence center for the treatment of mentally impaired people as well as sheltered workshops.

We have been a stock corporation since January 1, 2017. We have an unlimited operating license from the Canton of Bern and are on the hospital list with our offers in the application process. The canton limits itself to its role as owner and no longer intervenes in the operational activities. Neither does it cover any deficits, nor does it collect our surpluses.

The focus of the therapeutic work is on the individual as a unique personality. He is treated with appreciation and respect.
