Medical practice of psychiatry and psychotherapy- Evaluation and treatment of a wide range of mental health issues from adolescent (generally from age 17) to the very old, such as depression, anxiety, self-injurious behaviors, psychotic disorders, ADHD in adults (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) just to name a few.

Treatments can be pharmacological, psychotherapy, or a combination of both following the latest international guidelines and patient preference. The psychotherapy employed is cognitive-behavioral, in recent years with greater, but not exclusive use of ACT Therapy (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) with use of Mindfulness.

Having undergone specialized training and then having worked for several years in England I can provide treatments in Italian and English.

Although the practice is independent I share space and collaborate with the Estia practice where there are 2 FSP psychologist psychotherapists and a psychiatrist psychotherapist who offer an additional range of treatments at different addresses.

The approach used in Psychotherapy is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), more recently with a preferred but not exclusive use of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) with the use of Mindfulness techniques.

As I worked for many years in the U.K, including my Specialty and Psychotherapy training, I am able to offer those treatments in English as well as in Italian.
