Therapiezentrum Basel (Basel)

The TZB Therapy Center Basel is an interdisciplinary competence center for mental health in Basel and offers adults outpatient assessment, counseling and treatment of all mental health conditions.

The TZB is spread over two centers (ZfS and ZfP) at four locations along Hammerstrasse and Haltingerstrasse:

It also includes a general practitioner's office and a social counseling service.

The TZB Therapy Center Basel is a place of treatment, but also a meeting place with daily structural offers in the "Hammertreff105" for all patients.

We are an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, general practitioners, social workers, MPAs and employees of the patient administration and the medication counter.

We are the point of contact for our patients, for referring physicians, for co-treaters and for authorities. Cooperation with outpatient and inpatient medical and social institutions as well as authorities is important to us. It goes without saying that our patients must release us from our duty of confidentiality.

The qualified further training of assistant doctors on their way to becoming specialists in psychiatry and psychotherapy is also a matter of concern to us. The Therapy Center Basel is recognized as a FMH Category C training center (2 years). In addition, the TZB is recognized as a practice organization for social work at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
