Our experiences of resistance, of disagreement and of being strangers to each other are not the beginning of catastrophe, but rather signs of possible change and expansion in our lives so far. It is about growth. For the apple to grow, the blossom must wither and die, and for the seed to become the tree, the apple must fall to the ground. Opening up to this whole truth can become the supporting inner and outer wideness and is the basis of the mediative attitude. In conflict and crisis situations we are required to consciously include the turning point, a new point of view, which leads us to the path of common solutions. We also seek this path in mediation.
