Psychological counseling
Individual Counseling:
- In psychotherapy and counseling of a single individual, the focus is on the inner representation of the family of origin in the patterns of thinking, feeling and behavior and their change
- People in crisis are usually at a key turning point with the possibility of achieving positive change
- This is where the help in counseling starts with the goal: to promote and develop the existing resources in the person and to create conditions that promote growth and do not hinder it.
- The goal is always to promote the autonomy of the person in treatment.
- Taking an introductory course in Transactional Analysis 101 can enhance this developmental process. The concepts taught often help to find new solutions.
Partner Counseling:
- Partners often become entangled in relationship difficulties. Talking to an outside professional can be more likely to open up new avenues.
- The problem is usually not the problem, but the attempt to solve the problem ultimately becomes the problem. In order for couples to be able to solve problems together, they have to communicate with each other. Through partner counseling, couples are supported in these competencies.
- The goal of partner counseling is always to promote autonomy for both partners.
- Taking an introductory course in Transactional Analysis 101 can enhance this developmental process. The concepts taught help the couple to understand the situation and find new solutions.
Family counseling with transactional analysis:
- Family counseling sessions have as their focus the family, that is, a group of at least three people in which one or more members are experiencing problems from living together.
- In family counseling with transactional analysis, we work with a concretely existing family whose ways of dealing need to be changed.
- Families are exposed to many stresses. Sometimes problems arise that shake the family balance. Symptoms such as violence, addiction, eating disorder, depression or delinquency can often be abandoned if the whole family faces these problems.
